A good Viking death. Old car packs it in on road trip has a fitting finality to it. wish I’d taken the hint a few times.

Ah the good old days, when plumes of steam coming from a radiator cap was common enough that movie references of it were well understood. I think it will live on, unless there really was no oil pressure.

I’m starting to get sick and tired of his trying to ‘revive’ his piles of crap.
he is (part of the reason) why car enthusiasts get a bad rap.

Oh come on, none of the garbage he dragged to/towards Moab would have ever seen the road again without his desperate and ill-advised revivals.

there might be a very solid (or not, cough rust) reason for it.

Looks like that steam’s coming directly from the radiator cap opening...

How the hell did he get the cap off without burning himself?

by revive you mean doing the strict minimum to get it “running”
i get it for a backyard toy, but not to drive 1500 miles then Moab.

I was thinking to myself. “yeah if course it’s working while it’s cold outside. I wonder what will happen when they get into some heat?”
Do we know if it’s really done? Is he going to leave it, or tow home?

correct. hence the quotes.
I use to think he was funny, thinking he only did it for the clicks and the lol factor.
But he actually does this and thinks its ok

^^^^ this so much. if only he (AND ROADKILL!!!!) would do more than the barest of minimums.
if it were a Citroen DS he’d only put on three wheels!!!

I agree with that, but it’s not like he’s ruining good Jeeps.

I’ve seen that one in person. The rocker panels are a distant memory. Besides, he fixed that one.
